Is it safe to share door and alarm codes in a Facilist list?
Each list lives behind its own private, unguessable link. Lists are never listed publicly, never searchable, and our robots rules tell search engines not to index them — the only way to open a list is to be sent its link. If you change your mind, you can stop sharing a list at any moment and the link immediately stops working, and you can turn sharing back on later. Everything travels over HTTPS.
Does my sitter need an app or an account?
No. The link you send opens in any web browser on any phone or computer. The person receiving it installs nothing and signs up for nothing — they just see your photos, read your words, and can play your voice for each item.
How does the voice-to-text work?
When you take a photo and speak, your recording is transcribed automatically into text that appears with the item. Your original recording is always kept — the transcript is a convenience, not a replacement — and you can edit the text or re-run the transcription anytime. If transcription ever fails, your photo and recording are still saved in full.
What happens to my recordings and photos?
They exist only to serve your list. Recordings are sent to a speech-to-text provider solely to produce your transcript; providers are barred from keeping your data or training on it, and photos are never sent to any AI provider. What does Facilist cost?
Facilist is free to use while it is in early access — pricing is on hold until launch. After launch there will be a free plan covering your first 3 lists, and Facilist Pro at $79/year or $9/month for unlimited lists and unlimited sharing. Details are on the pricing page.
